I just want to be clear about a few things on this “historic” day. I want to be clear that I didn’t vote for him. I do not approve of his rhetoric, his racism, his misogyny, his sexism, or his blatant hatred.
I want to be clear that I do not approve of his dirty tactics and his complete disregard for the “little people.” Nor do I approve of his complete lies and empty promises. By this, I mean the following:Continue reading
I woke up about 5:30 am this morning thinking I would get some things done while it was still quiet. An article or two have been on my mind lately and I wanted to get a few more resumes submitted today.
Turning on the television to watch the “pre” Inaugural events, which was not on my morning “To Do” list.Continue reading
Dear Mr. Trump,
I write this knowing that there is a 99.6% chance you will never read this. Not because you’re too busy to pay attention to someone with minimal exposure, but because your arrogance prevents you from caring. With that being said, the .4% chance that you will actually read this makes it worth my time to write this. You see, I’m busy too. I’m busy working my full time job that keeps me busy 50 hours a week to provide for mine and my husband’s two sets of twins. There are some not as bad and there are some that are worse, much much worse. The sources of these headlines? They don’t really matter, Google Donald Trump and you will get many variations that all tell the same story- you have no business running for President.Continue reading

Is Trump really the American Dream?Continue reading
Dear Secretary Clinton,
I have to be honest, the last Democratic Primary I voted for Bernie Sanders. I struggled with the headlines accusing you of being a liar and a criminal. On top of that, Bernie Sanders’ platform was one that I could believe in. But know that I really wanted to pick you. You’ve fought for this for such a long time.
The Primary Election before I voted for Barack Obama. There has never been a President that has inspired me the way he has and continues to do.Continue reading
