Dear Mr. Trump,
I write this knowing that there is a 99.6% chance you will never read this. Not because you’re too busy to pay attention to someone with minimal exposure, but because your arrogance prevents you from caring. With that being said, the .4% chance that you will actually read this makes it worth my time to write this. You see, I’m busy too. I’m busy working my full time job that keeps me busy 50 hours a week to provide for mine and my husband’s two sets of twins. We’re a middle class family that works hard, makes a minimal fraction of the money you make and likely pay more in taxes than you do.
The exposure of you not paying federal taxes is the least of your concern, sadly. Above is a small compilation of headlines from the last few week concerning you. There are some not as bad and there are some that are worse, much much worse. The sources of these headlines? They don’t really matter, Google Donald Trump and you will get many variations that all tell the same story- you have no business running for President.
Never did I think I would miss Mitt Romney. Yet he would be a much welcomed change. What should be an adult discussion on policy has become a discussion of immature shenanigans. The outright blatant lies that you and your staffers tell are disturbing. It’s as if you don’t know the definition of what honesty is. Your antics, while on reality TV are apparently entertaining, have no place in the US political system. You have treasonous ties to Russia and have actually encouraged them to hack into US computer systems. You’ve suggested that Hillary should be assassinated. Your immigration plans are a crime against what this nation was built on. You’re a danger to our foreign relations. Time and time again, you’re proven to be a liar. Now that it’s clear you’re losing you claim that the election is rigged. It is not. The fact of the matter is the majority of Americans know you are unfit to serve. It’s more shocking to me that there are so many that still support you.
What’s even more ridiculous is that as each day passes, more headlines destroy your credibility. Each is worse than the last. The deeper you dig your hole, the more outlandish your claims and threats become. Claiming that you’ll jail Secretary Clinton. A statement that goes against the principles of our democratic society. Whether you like her or not, Hillary Clinton is a former senator, a former Secretary of State. Titles that have earned her respect. Referring to her as “Crooked Hillary” goes beyond most levels of disrespect. Last week you called her a “Nasty Woman” claim she’s using a “Woman Card”. You tout the lies that have been spread about Secretary Clinton, lies that have been debunked time and time again like they are fact. You regard the WikiLeaks emails as gospel even after it was proven they were fake.
When confronted with one of your asinine comments you deny saying it, even though any simple internet search proves you said it. You are a danger to the already wavering morality of our country.
The fact that you disrespect your female competitor is not surprising in the slightest. Before this past week, we already knew you had no respect for women. Calling them “Miss Piggy”, “Fat Pig”, basing their entire worth on their appearance. Quotes from your past stating that it’s dangerous to let your wife go out and work. Each comment unearthed is more disgusting than the last. You’re accused of raping a 13 year old girl. A child. An article came out today with testimony from this case saying you tied the child up before raping her. Many other women have come out with rape, assault and harassment allegations. And while I strongly believe innocent until proven guilty, the shocking tape leaked last week shows that these allegations are most likely true.
I will not repeat verbatim what you said in that recording. It was disgusting. Not because of the words you used. I’ve heard worse and probably said worse. It was the fact that you admitted that you have forced yourself on women. You just start kissing us. You just go up and grab us by our genitalia. That you can do anything to us, especially because you’re famous. That is sexual assault Mr. Trump. It is not locker room banter. It does not matter if it was a recording from 5, 10 or 15+ years ago. It is unacceptable. And this type of behavior does not belong in the White House. Your character is that of a criminal not of a president. It’s appalling that you would be the role model of our country. I do not want my children thinking how you treat others is acceptable. My boys will not learn to treat women from your example and my daughter most certainly will not measure her self worth against your opinions of women. Our president should be revered, not shameful.
It’s also important to note that Bill Clinton is not running for President. Bringing up his history doesn’t make yours go away. Pointing at someone else when accused of bad behavior doesn’t exonerate you, in fact, it makes you look guilty. You’re also forgetting the one major difference with what you have claimed to do and what he was impeached for- consent. Also, just a tiny reminder- a wife isn’t responsible for her husband’s actions. It’s not a reflection of Hillary’s character when you bring up Monica Lewinsky, it’s a reflection of yours.
I love politics, political debates, following elections. You Mr. Trump have ruined this election for me. I have no desire to watch Presidential Debates or to follow election news. I will be grateful for November 8th to pass. Hopefully after everything you’ve done it will be the last I hear of you.
